Preview Terms of Service

Welcome to the ConfigHub Preview Program. These Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of ConfigHub’s early-access preview (“Preview” or “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

ConfigHub, Inc. is a Delaware corporation (“ConfigHub,” “we,” “us”).

These Terms form a binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” “Customer”) and ConfigHub.

2. Preview Nature of the Service

The Service is provided on a preview, experimental, and pre-release basis.

It may have bugs, incomplete features, limited security, and may change rapidly.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service — including deleting any or all data — at any time and for any reason.

No service levels, uptime guarantees, support obligations, or data durability commitments apply.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for evaluation and feedback.
  • Not upload production, confidential, or sensitive data.
  • Comply with applicable laws.
  • Keep your account credentials secure.

If you connect external systems (e.g., AWS, GitHub, WorkOS), you’re responsible for those accounts and their security.

4. Feedback

If you provide ideas, suggestions, or comments (“Feedback”), you grant ConfigHub a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use the Feedback without obligation or compensation.

5. Your Content and Ownership

You retain all rights in any data or content you submit or store (“Your Content”).

You grant ConfigHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

ConfigHub retains all rights in the Service, including software and documentation.

6. Data Handling, Storage, and Deletion

a. No Production Data

Do not store production, confidential, or sensitive data in the Preview.

b. Data May Be Deleted at Any Time

ConfigHub may delete, remove, or irreversibly destroy any or all data stored in the Service at any time, with or without notice.

c. Reasonable Notice (When Feasible)

When feasible, ConfigHub may attempt to provide short, reasonable notice before bulk deletion events, but we are not required to do so.

d. No Obligation to Return or Export Data

We have no obligation to return, migrate, or recover Your Content after deletion or termination.

e. Privacy Policy

7. No Warranties

The Preview is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

ConfigHub disclaims all warranties (express, implied, statutory), including:

  • fitness for a particular purpose
  • merchantability
  • non-infringement
  • availability, performance, or accuracy

You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Community and Discord Server

We provide an optional Discord server for authenticated users. Joining the Discord server is not required to use ConfigHub. If you choose to join:

  • You agree to comply with Discord's Terms of Service ( https://discord.com/terms)
  • You consent to ConfigHub associating your Discord username with your ConfigHub account
  • We may use your Discord username to provide support and identify you in community interactions
  • You agree to maintain professional and respectful conduct
  • We reserve the right to remove users from the Discord server for violations of these Terms or disruptive behavior
  • Discord is operated by Discord, Inc. with its own privacy policy ( https://discord.com/privacy)

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ConfigHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • ConfigHub is not liable for data loss, deletion, corruption, or unavailability.
  • ConfigHub’s total liability will not exceed $100 or the amount you paid in the last 30 days, whichever is less.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

ConfigHub may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason.

Upon termination, your data may be deleted immediately and without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware (excluding conflict-of-laws principles).

Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in Delaware courts.

12. General Terms

  • These Terms are the entire agreement for the Preview Service.
  • If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
  • Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
